359˚ of beauty
It is so hard to see the storm on the horizon in this photograph, but it is the lesson that God taught me in reflecting over this experience that has been the most significant impetus in my understanding on how to see God's Beauty in this world. We tend to focus too much on ourselves or the storm that we are in, which consists of about 1° of our field of view. I am challenging you to see the 359° of Beauty that surrounds you in every given moment!
Instead of asking "why God" or "God, what can I learn from this?" Teach yourself to ask what God has revealed to us to ask: "God, where is your beauty in this moment, through this pain, or experience? Where is your beauty?"
Be prepared for a new way of looking at life, because he has revealed glimpses of his glory all around us! We see it and hope you do too!
Why this? Why now?
This world needs a strong vision of how to see the beauty even in the worst of situations. It is important to equip those around us with the tools to see how God is at work in every situation. While whatever situation you may find yourself in is definitively a challenge, it is ALWAYS POSSIBLE to see the beauty within it, if you are willing to try.
Through our journey, God has revealed to us how to see the beauty in every moment. Sometimes it is very hard to see it through the pain, but it is still there. Often times, it is through reflection, patience, and persistence that God uncovers his grace, peace, and joy around us.
